Oakwood Book Club hits the Library for the Summer term

This term has seen the arrival of a new group of Year 5 students in the Oakwood Book Club. The ten girls and boys from Oakwood School visit the Library every Wednesday morning to take part in the Book Club with Mrs Mayer-Khan.

As a group, the children are reading The Fastest Boy in the World by Elizabeth Laird. They are also allowed to borrow individual books and have chosen a fantastic range of titles from Percy Jackson to Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Fun !

The students are all keen readers and have plenty of interesting opinions on books...and life in general!
