Beaumont Reads Apple and Rain
September saw the launch of our first Whole School Read at Beaumont School and I am delighted to say that the response has been truly great!
The school
has become a huge book club reading Apple and Rain and reviews that come in are
being displayed on our Beaumont Reads board just outside reception. Mr. Smith,
Head of Maths has written:
“We all
want to belong socially and be liked. Apple’s desire to fit in with everybody’s
expectations of her and the pain that this causes, is a condition that everybody
undergoes whether adult or child or in between. This book is an excellent
reminder that we should be true to our own nature.”
Anyone who submits a
review is entitled to wear a badge, and students and members of staff are
proudly wearing their apple badges! We
would love to see parents wearing them out and about in St. Albans too.
Please email your reviews to the librarian

or tweet your comments to @Beau Library using #Beaumont Reads.
We hope you will enjoy reading Apple and Rain too!
